Alison Cook Beatty Dance presents “From Concept to Production; in the RAW”!

Join Artistic Director, Alison Cook-Beatty and the dancers in an intimate studio showing on April 30th at 7:30 p.m.

In addition to performing compositions currently in the repertoire, the Company will show “Echoes In Time” a Work In Progress that will premiere in Fall 2022.
“From Concept to Production; in the RAW: An Evening with Alison Cook Beatty Dance” will begin at 7:30 PM with a reception of complimentary drinks. Artwork from friends, such as Carol Davis’s sketches from our recent show of ARTISTS IN MOTION MINI, costume designer sketches from Larissa Shirley King, Alison’s choreographic journal entries, and items that inspired these dances will be on display until 8 PM.
The program begins at 8 pm and will include an inside look at the concepts and methods in which the dances were crafted and also the tools that Alison used to create these works. Alison and the dancers will demonstrate these concepts and show the process leading up to each work itself.
The program will be, “Echoes Of War” a WORK IN PROGRESS, “One More Day” and “Absurd Heroes”, both recent New Works. At the end of the evening, there will be a brief question and answer session with the dancers and Alison.
