TOMISLAV NEVISTIĆ began his training at the Contemporary School of Ana Maletić in Croatia, specializing in Laban technique. He furthered his studies in New York City, graduating from The Ailey School and the Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance, where he also earned certification to teach Graham technique. In his third season with Alison Cook Beatty Dance, Nevistić has performed in the duet Lifeline and soloist roles in Joyful Offering, Behind the Curve, Lacrimis, In the Forest, Messages in Time, and more. His work with Alison Cook Beatty Dance has included performances at notable festivals such as the Hudson Valley Dance Festival, Windhover, Fairfield County Dance Festival, and Dumbo Dance Festival. Nevistić is the Baryshnikov Artist in Residence for Spring 2024 and the recipient of the Oscar of Knowledge in Dance, awarded by the Agency for Education in Croatia under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Croatia and the Croatian Parliament.
