Kristen Hedberg, a native of Richmond VA, is a dancer and dance writer based in New York, NY. She has written several reviews of Alison Cook Beatty Dance’s repertory, and volunteers with their social media team. In addition, Kristen danced with the company as a guest artist in MAHAWAY: Spring Eternal in June 2019.

Kristen earned her BFA in Contemporary Dance from The University of North Carolina School of the Arts. She spent her senior year dual enrolled at The Martha Graham School. Kristen has recently danced with Curet Performance Project, mignolo dance, and Beth Soll & Company. During her collegiate years, she performed works by Martha Graham, Merce Cunningham, José Limón, Doug Varone, Beth Gill, William Forsythe, and Cara Hagan, among others.
