My husband and I went to see Alison Cook Beatty Dance's performance at Gibney in the fall. We had a great time and anyone who loves dance should make a point of experiencing one of her company's shows. Alison's choreography is wonderful - she tells compelling stories - and fun. Even when she takes on serious topics, she has an amazing way of transporting the audience to another time and place. I also want to note that the costumes are very creative and really help to give her pieces another dimension. If you ever have a chance to attend one of her performances, you will have a great experience and she and her dancers will leave you wanting more.
